Blackpool Summer Break

Adelaide House Hotel, Blackpool

With prime position in the town centre opposite the Winter Gardens and Houndshill Shopping Centre, and only minutes from the Tower, Beach, Theatres and Attractions, makes the Adelaide the ideal destination for your holiday. A good size Blackpool Hotel with a regular entertainment programme and choice menu, but we still retain the comfort and hospitality of a family run establishment. All rooms are en suite, with tea and coffee making facilities, Flat screen Tv’s and hairdryers. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

There is a lift to all floors.

Day 1 - Monday

You are greeted by the driver of your door-to-door taxi service as you make your way to Boston to join the main coach. Departing Boston mid-morning, we head directly to Blackpool and make an appropriate lunchtime stop en route. Arriving at the Adelaide House Hotel you have time to settle in before your evening meal.

Day 2 - Tuesday

A full free day to enjoy the delights of the Lancashire seaside town of Blackpool "Las Vegas of the North".

Day 3 - Wednesday

Southport today is still one of the most popular seaside resorts in the UK. You can blow the cobwebs away with a walk down to the end of Southport Pier, a historic landmark on the seafront.

Day 4 - Thursday

Today we escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Lancaster canal whilst enjoying an afternoon tea. Our cruise departs and returns to Barton Grange Garden Centre; you have time to browse at your leisure before we depart and return to our hotel.

Day 5 - Friday

Join us today as we head to Bury Market for a unique shopping experience. One of the oldest most popular markets in the UK, featuring over 400 stalls. Shop for anything and everything all in one location. This afternoon we enjoy a journey on the East Lancashire Railway from Bolton Bury Street Station.

Day 6 - Saturday

Mid-morning we travel around the coast to Morecombe, for some sandy strolls and time to explore and grab some lunch on the seafront.

Day 7 - Sunday

Our penultimate day of our break, time to explore the wonders that Blackpool has to offer. You may choose to ride the tram, visit the zoo or even the Blackpool Tower.

Day 8 - Monday

After breakfast this morning we bid farewell to our hosts, beginning our journey back to Lincolnshire. We make a lunch stop in Hebden Bridge as we travel through the West Yorkshire. As we return to Boston you are greeted by your taxi drivers to complete the final part of your journey.
