The Derwent Manor Hotel, Allensford

The Derwent Manor boutique hotel is set in 20 acres of land overlooking the stunning Derwent Valley. From the bar and restaurant areas to the bedrooms, the interior is every bit as impressive as its exterior and you’re assured of the warmest of welcomes. Bedrooms are ensuite and equipped with television and tea/coffee making facilities.

Sunday

We depart this morning and begin our journey north, making a lunch stop in the charming market town of Beverley. Enjoy time to explore before we continue our journey to The Derwent Manor where a warm welcome awaits.

Monday

We visit the fascinating Beamish Museum, an award-winning open-air museum bringing the history of the Northeast to life. Step back in time as you explore historic buildings, vintage transport, traditional shops, and costumed characters recreating life from the past.

Tuesday

Today we visit the historic city of Durham, home to the magnificent cathedral and picturesque riverside setting. Enjoy time at leisure to explore the charming streets, browse the shops, or relax in one of the many cafés and restaurants.

Wednesday

We are joined by our knowledgeable guide who boards the coach and shares an informative and fascinating tour, bringing the history and stories of the area to life as we explore the surrounding countryside.

Thursday

We depart after breakfast and begin our journey home, making a stop in the elegant spa town of Harrogate. Enjoy time to explore the charming streets, browse the shops, or relax with a coffee before continuing our journey back to Lincolnshire.
