We depart the local area and travel to the historic market town of Beverley, where there will be time to enjoy lunch and explore at your leisure. Discover the impressive Minster, browse the independent shops or soak up the atmosphere of this charming Yorkshire town. We then continue our journey to Scarborough, our base for the break.

Thursday

Enjoy a delightful day out combining the grandeur of Castle Howard, one of Yorkshire’s most magnificent stately homes, with a relaxing visit to the traditional seaside resort of Filey. Explore Castle Howard’s beautiful interiors, stunning gardens and picturesque grounds before heading to the coast, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the promenade, take in the fresh sea air or simply relax and enjoy the charm of this much-loved seaside town.

Friday

Today we visit the fascinating Scarborough Fair Collection and Vintage Transport Museum. Discover an impressive collection of vintage vehicles, fairground rides, mechanical organs and steam engines, offering a nostalgic journey through Britain's transport and fairground heritage.

Saturday

Today we visit the historic seaside town of Whitby, where you'll have time to explore at your leisure. Included is admission to the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, where you can discover the fascinating story of the famous explorer's early life and voyages of discovery.

Sunday

We bid farewell to Scarborough and begin our journey back to Lincolnshire, travelling via the spectacular Flamborough Head. We then stop in the popular seaside resort of Bridlington, where there will be time to enjoy lunch before continuing our journey home.
