Monday
Greeted by your door-to-door pick-up driver you make the short journey to meet the coach and depart Boston mid-morning. We make suitable stops en route as we head to Mold, arriving mid-afternoon, with time to settle into our rooms and become acquainted with our surroundings.
Tuesday
After a hearty Welsh Breakfast, pick up your packed lunch before we travel to the historic city of Chester. The city dates to the Middle Ages with its Roman walls and famous "Rows"-a medieval shopping complex-with all the well-known high-street names to be found on two levels. It is famous for its many half-timbered houses and its 2-mile path around the top of the red sandstone battlements. You will have plenty of time for shopping, sightseeing or simply soaking up the atmosphere.
Wednesday
We visit the 'Queen of Welsh resorts', Llandudno. Two miles of sandy beaches and a fine Victorian promenade curve between the two headlands, Little Orme and Great Orme. The sweeping promenade, framed with Victorian architecture that dominates the seafront, overlooks the curving bay and popular pier.
Thursday
Our first stop will take us to the town of Llangollen, a beautiful place which is steeped in myth and legend. It is market day today and we have time to browse and enjoy. In the afternoon we visit the National Trusts Erddig Hall, a late 17th century country house saved from dereliction which sits above the winding Clywedog River.
Friday
We bid farewell to our hosts and begin our return journey, we make a lunch stop at the wonderful Trentham Gardens, with the opportunity to make the most of the selection of eateries or hit the shops. We depart early afternoon and return to Boston to meet our awaiting taxis.
