Burlington Hotel, Folkstone:

Overlooking the Leas Promenade and English Channel, The Burlington Hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the centre of Folkestone. Set in leafy gardens, it features a traditional restaurant. Set in a grand Victorian building, the spacious rooms at The Burlington each have a private bathroom and tea and coffee facilities. All rooms have Freeview TV, hairdryer and free Wi-Fi. Some deluxe and superior rooms enjoy sea views.

This hotel does have a lift.

Monday

With a mid-morning departure, we travel south to Kent, making a stop in the charming market town of Saffron Walden. Here, you'll have time to enjoy lunch and explore at your leisure before continuing our journey to Folkestone and our hotel.

Tuesday

Today is at leisure in the charming seaside town of Folkestone. Explore the picturesque harbour, stroll along the attractive Leas promenade, browse the independent shops or simply relax by the sea. This afternoon, enjoy a traditional cream tea at the hotel.

Wednesday

Today we visit the historic county town of Maidstone, where you'll have time to explore at your leisure. We then enjoy a relaxing cruise aboard the Kentish Lady, sailing along the picturesque River Medway and taking in the beautiful Kent countryside from the water.

Thursday

Today we explore three of Kent's charming seaside resorts. We visit the vibrant town of Margate, the elegant coastal resort of Broadstairs and the historic maritime town of Ramsgate. Enjoy free time in each destination to stroll along the seafront, browse the shops or relax in one of the many cafés while taking in the coastal scenery.

Friday

After breakfast, we visit the historic city of Canterbury, where you'll have time to explore at your leisure before departing mid-afternoon for our journey back to Lincolnshire, arriving home early evening.
