The Headland Hotel, Torquay

Majestically overlooking Meadfoot Beach and the sea, set on the headland, the Headland Hotel was originally built for the Romanoff’s, the Russian Royal Family. All bedrooms are en suite and have television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

The hotel has a lift.

Monday

We depart the local area and make our way south towards the beautiful English Riviera, with suitable comfort and refreshment stops along the way.

Tuesday

Enjoy a nostalgic journey aboard the South Devon Railway, travelling through beautiful countryside alongside the River Dart. On arrival in Totnes, enjoy free time to explore this historic market town, with its independent shops, cafés and charming streets.

Wednesday

Enjoy a relaxing cruise along the beautiful River Dart, taking in the stunning scenery of the Devon countryside. We then have time to explore the picturesque riverside town of Dartmouth, with its historic streets, independent shops and waterfront cafés.

Thursday

Enjoy a relaxing day at leisure in the popular seaside resort of Torquay. Explore the attractive harbour, browse the shops, enjoy a leisurely lunch or simply take in the beautiful English Riviera scenery at your own pace.

Friday

After breakfast, we bid farewell to Torquay and begin our journey home, with suitable comfort and refreshment stops en route. We arrive back in the local area later this afternoon.
