We depart from Boston early morning; the executive coach will be waiting to greet you all as you arrive via your door to door pick up. We depart Boston and begin our journey west, making a suitable lunch stop in the regal Leamington Spa, with the chance to stretch your legs and grab a bite to eat before we continue our journey. We aim to arrive at our hotel with late afternoon.
Tuesday
Travel through bustling Haverfordwest and visit beautiful St. Davids, Britain's smallest cathedral city. St. Davids is home to a wide selection of historic attractions including the beautiful cathedral and the ruins of The Bishop's Palace. In the afternoon we visit historic Pembroke which is dominated by its striking castle. Once enclosed by a fortified wall and home to some fine Georgian houses there is much to explore in this pretty town. Dating back over 900 years, and famous for its castle which is one of the most complete Norman castles in the UK, it was also the birthplace of Henry VII, founder of the Tudor dynasty. The central main street heads away from the castle gates and there is plenty to discover in the historic streets.
Wednesday
Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Gower Peninsula and The Mumbles, an area renowned for its
sandy beaches. Visit the Gower Heritage Centre in a converted water mill where a guide will join the coach for a tour of the peninsula's highlights before returning for a vintage tea and tour of the mill.
Thursday
We commence the day at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. Nestled in the Tywi Valley, you will discover the award-winning Great Glasshouse, home to a profusion of rare, fragrant and exotic plants. We then travel for an afternoon in Tenby, Experience the friendly harbour, relax, and unwind on one of the three fantastic beaches or simply sit and watch the world go by. There is an array of delightful shops to browse and restaurants, pubs, and tea rooms.
Friday
We must bid farewell to our hosts and begin our journey back to Lincolnshire. We make a lunch stop in Hereford, enjoy the historic cathedral city on the banks of the River Wye. Browse the shops and admire the quirky streets and all that Hereford has to offer before completing the final part of our journey back to Boston to find your taxis waiting for you. There will be a short coffee stop in the final part of your journey.
