YOUR ITINERARY
Monday | We start the day with a morning departure, greeted by your door-to-door taxi service you meet the coach at then depart from Boston Coach Park. As we head across the country we stop in the wonderful market town of Bakewell. The perfect destination for a lunch stop and a little wander, with the bonus of their Monday market. Mid afternoon we complete the final part of our journey, arriving at the stunning Alvaston Hall late afternoon, with time to check in and settle into your rooms before your evening meal.
Tuesday | Our excursion today takes you to the ancient city of Chester offering a truly breathtaking experience. Each chapter of the City’s history is etched into its very fabric. Chester has the most complete city walls, the oldest racecourse and the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain, plus a 1000-year-old Cathedral with Europe’s finest example of medieval carvings – and of course the one and only 700 year old Rows, galleries where shopping is a double delight.
Wednesday | Enjoy a full day at leisure, giving you the freedom to relax and take advantage of the superb leisure facilities available. Whether you prefer to indulge in a spa treatment, take a dip in the pool, or engage in the excellent activities offered, the choice is yours. This is your opportunity to unwind and make the most of your stay.
Thursday | This morning we head to Shrewsbury, one of England’s finest medieval market towns packed with timber-framed black & white buildings and narrow streets, plus over 600 listed buildings, including the castle, which is now a regimental museum. The historic centre is a shopper’s heaven packed with designer shops, malls and a great range of independent retailers. Enjoy lunch in one of the many cafes and restaurants, perhaps take a stroll through the beautiful Quarry Park or maybe a cruise on the river.
Friday | Departing the hotel after breakfast we begin our journey back to Lincolnshire, making a stop at the stunning Trentham Gardens. Spend some time exploring the breathtaking gardens and indulge yourself at the newly expanded Trentham Shopping Village, featuring an array of shops, charming cafés, and the expansive Trentham Garden Centre. Treat yourself to a delightful shopping experience or simply soak in the serene surroundings. Late afternoon we arrive back in Boston, where your door-to-door taxi service will be waiting for the final part of your journey home.
