Thursday | Our local door to door pick up service will greet you this morning as you start your holiday. The service takes you to meet the coach before leaving the local area. As we travel south we take a break in Hertfordshire’s historic city, explore the incredible history, first class shopping and a wonderful range of eateries. You then travel to Hampshire Court Hotel, arriving late afternoon with time to settle into your rooms before your evening meal.

Friday | A visit to the Hampshire cottage where Jane Austen lived and wrote her novels, the inspiring cottage was not only her home, but the birthplace of her six novels. Freely explore the home and garden that Jane knew and loved, uncovering the story of her life and times, and getting up close to objects from the unparalleled Austen collection. An afternoon visit to the vibrant, ancient and cultured Winchester. Locally known as Hampshire’s foodie capital, there is an abundance of eateries and markets.

Saturday| Located on the River Thames and Kennet and Avon Canal, with beautiful stretches of river and stunning Gardens. Reading is surprising in so many ways, with The Forbury Gardens laid our next to the monumental ruins of Reading Abbey, the peaceful tow paths by the canals. A day at leisure allows you to visit the shops, enjoy a stroll along the canal, sit back and enjoy watching the swans on the Thames, or wander around the stunning Caversham Court Gardens.

Sunday | This morning we make the journey to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard where we spend the day. We have included a unlimited explorer ticket, giving you entry to all the historic ships, including Vice Admiral Lord Nelson’s world famous flagship HMS Victory and the world renowned Mary Rose Museum.
